Through Their Eyes
A concept prototype that re-renders the world through the eyes of eleven species. Every pixel you see is reshaped by a real-time shader that approximates each animal's photoreceptors - colour channels, low-light sensitivity, field of view, and focus.
Where this goes next: the final product is planned as a mobile AR app - point your phone, see through their eyes, live. This prototype previews the exact core interaction, running entirely in your browser, on your camera feed, with nothing uploaded anywhere.
Safety first: this is a toy for wonder, not a tool. The filters are approximations - never use them for real decisions: don't judge traffic lights, cables, food, medicine or heat through them (the snake filter is not a thermal camera), and they are no substitute for a colour-blindness aid. When the live camera is on, the screen hides the world behind it - stand or sit still, watch your step, and keep clear of traffic, stairs and water.
Honest science note: these are approximations for illustration, not models of actual perception - no human can truly verify another species' qualia. Numbers below are commonly cited figures.
